All great stuff from an individual willing to take the time to document and share every detail with the rest of us. What an excellent role model for other professionals and non-professionals as well.

Hats off to Aaron Colton!

And thanks also to all the others on this site who have shared their vast knowledge. What a great resource we have here.

So with the GPR looks like it only raises the bars 1/4 inch ! great pick of it , by the way the talk on this went I was thinking it raised it a lot higher... great stuff on the bike you are doing..
It could be a little more than a 1/4 inch but it was less then I thought it would raise the bars. I can measure the difference today from OE.

Man... I'm going to be watching this thread like a hawk.
So much awesome going on in here!

Perhaps when all is said and done you can grace us with a sick action photo of you on the bike for our next www.FZ09.org shirt or hoodie! :)
Thank you for the kind words! I will defiantly keep the build pictures on going as I start to ride the bike as well. Plenty of action shots to share!

Thank you! It has been a fun build. I have also been able to learn a lot on this forum on a bike that was foreign to me at first. Great community here.

Damn dude, Ive always appreciated your riding. When I got my FZ I figured it would be right up your alley. And look at you now! ha, excellent! I love the mazda drain bolt. What exhaust will you go with? I ask because I have scrapes on the bottom of mine, and my oil pan. I dont stunt at all and I have these issues. I'm definitely gonna keep and eye on this build. Cant wait to see the finished product!

I think I see where you went wrong there. You forgot to wheelie over the speedbumps, didn't you?

Little update on the build. I have been at the NDC machine shop in Redding the past few days and will be here till Wednesday. I will post up some progress pictures of the custom CNC parts when I have some time. Still waiting on a few parts but it looks like the Shock ,Forks, Exhaust, ECU, Tripple clamps, and custom brake lines will be here on Friday and I will be able to really get the bike completed over next weekend. Still having the custom tank made and graffix designed but those will probably be even another week out.

Super pumped for the first Freestlye test ride tomorrow :D !

Custom tank? Thanks for the updates and pictures.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Yea, what he said! Custom tank? Jealous
I feel like it's going to be around a 1 gallon tank that your booty can't crush. As much as I love wheelies, I don't think I could handle any less gas in my tank! Hah! I'm just curious about the trim pieces on the sides and all the electronics they hide!

Back to wrenching!

Mounted up the new style EBC Rotors (Oversized 310) and Bridgestone R10 tires balanced them in and ready to roll.

While the wheel was off and knowing the new EBC rotors where going to be 10mm bigger I wanted to put a 90 bend valve stem on for adjusting pressure up front easier.

With the oversized rotors on I needed to make caliper spaces to hold me over until I receive the new Brembo calipers so I made these up quick in the shop. Its not my best work but they will be okay for the one day.

Headed to the track to put 100 hard miles on the engine before I really tear it apart! This thing surprised me. It rips pretty hard out of the box.

The stock suspension may have just been the mushiest suspension I have ever ridden but progress forward and the Ohlins replacements will be in soon! Bath time and then a tear down!

I'm curious to know if he had the speed limiter removed.. I was about to head up there later this month but forecast is saying its going to rain.. So i'm gonna head to button willow in March for 2 days. You should go Blacklclu, got 2 other buddies going already.
