Hey FZ09 Forum,

We at VP Motorsport produced variable intake stacks for Yamaha MT09/ MT09 with the CP03 engine.
Here you can see the prototype of this product, it is almost finished!
Let us know what you think!
Now there are three short stacks and three longer stacks for better performance in the lower and higher RPM regions. They give a wider torque spread because now there are no compromises made.
The dyno results will be posted soon!

Hi there, here are the stacks working on a customer MT09 Tracer 2017, we are glad to tell you they are working very well
We need to adjust the air/fuel a little bit , but that's no problem because we are working with Woolich Racing Software.
What you see here, is that we are trying to find the correct moment (rpm related) to lift the variable stacks, we are very close to it.
Thank you for any comment.

Very cool! Even though I'm not sure what units your dyno numbers are it looks like some decent improvment - roughly 13% on the peak torque number and it is an 'all over' gain - not a trade off. Are you going to offer these for sale as a kit or something?

Thank you for your response!
We are in the final stages of adjustment / fine-tuning and then we are going to put it on the market.
The prize of the total set is not yet known.

At this moment we are thinking about an exchange system.
In other words: sent in your own filter assembly and we'll send you a complete ready-to-use setback in return.

Hi, do you have a picture of these the variable stacks to share?

Hi, if you look a bit closer and probably you can read this as a tuner, we have made 26 runs: first without stacks and the other with stacks. Meanwhile we autotuned it with Woolich racing software. This bike has an akrapovic full system with db killer mounted. No more, no less.

On the other hand we are very very certain about the results. We see it on different bikes.

The compromise made by the manufacturer is a three times unequal lenght of stacks. We made 'the thing' how it should perform

I think the only proper thing to do here is to have an independent 3rd party verify the results. I humbly volunteer my bike and my time at great cost to myself and significant loss of summer riding season to take the hit for the forum team.
@VPMotorsport - please feel free to contact me via PM and we can arrange the shipping details for my free variable length stacks
@vcyclenut - once I have the stacks installed I'll contact you and we can arrange some dyno time (again free of charge)

Hey Psycoreefer.

Unfortunately, we are not giving out free variable stacks. Variable stacks have been around for some time on high-end bikes and have been proven to work (ask the manufacturers). We are producing the stacks for different segments that dont have them fitted as standard.

We will let a known certified third party test them.

Thank you for your understanding. :)

Ok, I’ve been in Holland this weekend and get the stacks on my bike that took a few hours to modified the airbox , put the stacks on it and install the rest of the hardware ( but no rocket science)
We tested the bike how it was ( without the stacks) and after (with them), and oh my god what a difference, not only on the dyno ( watch the result) but also on the road with the test drive.
The engine revs right from the start( bottom) until l the very end.
Accelerate in the corner is amazing, climbing in the chain in third gear( 100kilo plus gear) difficult to hold the front wheel on the tarmac.
Feels like a total new bike for me, in the lower range the engine feels nice and smooth, no dip or so, reacting on the gas is fantastic.
Just short,,,,,very nice mod.
Cp3 engine , akrapovic titanium exhaust with carbon tip k&n filter and the stacks.
It will require a flash update on the dyno to get the most out of it.
