Anyone knows what is part number of original Yamaha fly screen ? My dealer told me it's 2 month lead time, trying to order it somewhere else

I'm pretty much in wait-and-see-mode for a couple months before dropping any money on accessories. This stuff ain't cheap! I'd prefer someone else do the initial review so I don't blow $200-$400+ on a wind screen that only serves to turn me into a bobblehead. And a lot of stuff is going to take several months or more to come to market, especially when you consider all the manufacturing and raw resource delays of late.

I also do not care for that one. To me it looks too much like a BIG flat piece of metal bolted on.

I often wonder how a huge corp like Yamaha can't offer their accessories world wide, but I'm sure there is a REALLY GOOD reason (incompetence? bureaucracy? same thing?).

If you want a laugh, check out what's available here for the '21 MT09: https://www.yamaha-motor.ca/en/acce....ca/en/accessories/motorcycles?facetValueFilter=tenant~unit-fitment:2021-mt09am

I especially like the Supertrac Deck Hook. Apparenlty thou, I'll need to order the Supertrak Kit first....

Which is precisely what it is. Ghastly.

I'm waiting for someone to make a high mount Dirtbike Fender for this lol
Like the XSR900 Yardbuilt Chimera, that bike is just beautiful.

I just want to turn the MT into a little more Motard like.

You've seen @shamrock 's bike, right?

Folks here looking for a decent screen for their 2021's are not casting the net wide enough. GIVI have had one for some time: if it's half as good and pleasing to the eye as its brother on my 2020 SP I say go grab one. True, it doesn't cover up most of the much-criticised area around cyclops, but as a screen offering some worthwhile protection to the rider it's pretty good. Mine came from <motostorm.it> and was delivered to me in Oz within eight (8) days of ordering.

They may have announced that windscreen but, the actual mounting kit is still in the making. So, I wouldn't say that GIVI has a windscreen available since it's not usable

It would be no good without the mounting kit as I doubt even the handiest among us could conjure up that complex item (judging by my parts for the 2020 SP), but be patient, it will be worth it...

I'm sure it's functional, but just not my style. I do actually like the Yamaha OEM flyscreen.

I'll wait a little bit longer. I don't mind the full naked bike air flow, I just want something to keep the bugs off the back of the dash.

That's the reason I opted to order the Mustard Bikes screen, simply to clean up the LED-to-dash area and have the bugs hit this screen rather than the more difficult to clean area underneath. Because it's relatively small and will be delivered black, it shouldn't stand out much at all which is fine since I wasn't looking for a windshield to keep wind off of me anyway. I've done that on my two previous bikes, and the full-on windshields just direct the wind full force to my helmet unless I add a clip-on adjustable mini screen up top. I'll keep my '21 MT naked.(y)

Don't forget to share photos after installation
BTW I've ordered Indicator relocation mounts from Mustard Bikes - the quality is good, arrived the next day (local Australia). Didn't like the look on the bike so I haven't installed it but it's my personal opinion
