Hmm, never heard this brand. How's the bike biking?

Its a C named brand. A lot repair shops use this brand.

I have for my car already 12 years this oil never had any issues.

My MT09 had Motul 7100 in it. shifts harsh.

Now it has this oil and shifts smooth

YAMALUBE or MOTUL for the MT09? Or something else?

From your experience, what has been the best oil for your Yamaha MT09 (or other Yamaha) ?

And a quick...why?

Appreciate any comments.

Hi, I am brand new here but I recently got my 2023 MT 09SP about four months ago. Was running the lube in it and at 4000 miles I switched to 10 W 40 semi synthetic Lucas oil. It immediately quieted the engine down drastically. I think it runs much better with the Lucas.

All my bikes had in it is Yamalube. I bought a case of oil, filters and crush washers the day I bought the bike. Was digging around in the shed and found another case of Yamalube oil and fixings. So I must have bought two setups that day. I've had no issues with it,,, was cheap because I bought it the day I bought the bike at 5% above cost. So I'm good.

I use Shell Rotella full syn. Readily available at Wally-world and it's about $ 6.50/qt.
I've used it in all of my bikes for the past 25 years with zero issues JASO cert MA & MA2.
Absolutely 💯. Like you, I've used the Rotella full synthetic for over 25 years with zero problems. I use it in all of my vehicles as well.

Went with MOTUL 7100 10w-40.

Engine been running smoother and more quiet right away. Nice red colored oil as well. I would recommend.
Changed the oil filter as well and replaced it with the one in the pic, K&N Performance.

Thanks for all the replies.

motor oils are rated with a simple letter (by law, stamped on the bottle) and Yamalube (even the syntetic one) isn't that great compared to Motul. I run Motul 7100 and gear change is way smoother now compared to Yamalube full syntetic
Yeah man, I went exactly with this one. And changed the oil filter to K&N Performance. Engine been running smoother and more quiet. Great oil and filter.

I only use JASO MA2 oil. Its meant for cars but, also for motorcycle

Prior to my crash last May, I ran Motul 7100 in my 2015 FZ09. Post-crash, I now have a 2014 FZ09 (thanks to the ******* that hit me and totalled my 2015 🙄), and still use Motul 7100. Personally, I think shifts are smoother, engine runs smoother, and if you’re weird like me, Motul smells pretty good as well 😜 Ride safe 🤙🏻

As long it is JASO MA2 its fine.

I use 5W40

All Japanese stuff can use old spec oil as they are very conservative
so you can buy oil everywhere
