Moto26- The DS is my good buddies. I have swapped him bikes a couple times, nothing long. It is a very solid machine. Although it is heavier than the XSR it feels lights. the position, for someone my size :6'2'' 190lb is nearly perfect. My buddy is a big bigger weight wise but about the same height and he says he's pretty comfy on it too. I don't have a lot of seat time in it, and no highway miles, but it gets up and goes. It's easy to wheelie, and it flicks around really nice. He takes it offroad a little and it handles fireroads and stuff like that well. All in all, it's a fun bike and it looks great. he gets beat up on the highway but thats expected. I really dig the whole scrambler line, they are simply fun machines. I would totally consider owning one.. but they do feel a bit pricey for what you get... and his service intervals and cost are a little up there.
minsk99 - the kreiga fit pretty well with the straps under the seat. It took some fine threading to make sure it would get around metal parts, and if you're not careful you'll get the straps jammed in the seat locking mechanisms. It's defiantly not a perfect fit. the bag wants to sit a little bit more forward than i was intending, but it's not noticeable while riding and it's really just the slightest bit too long. I think the US10 would be a better fit but i really wanted to get that extra 10 liters even though i've never filled the bag more than halfway, haha.
3forMePlease - Yes you're correct, it's the slightly taller screen. In the upright position, there is no noticeable change, MAYBE a slight breakup from wind hitting the chest... maybe. in the tuck I can't say it feels any different either. Again, it MIGHT break it up a little but if it does, it's nothing worth really noting. 80-90 mph on a freeway and you still feel the brunt of the wind. But I think it looks nice and the fit and quality was perfect.
Thanks for taking interest guys.
