I'm only doing this because my ECU has now been flashed and O2 sensor disabled. If you do it to a stock bike, the AFR will constantly fluctuate.
Simple-ish routine. Undo the two allen screws holding the plastic case for the connector - they are attached to the engine case. Easy to get off and put back on after you have removed the o2 sensor.
use a flathead screw driver inside the connector, going up to push the flap backwards and pull the plug out.
cover both ends now undone with electrical tape and zip tie tidy.
 
Glad this thread was resurrected... I plan to get my exhaust ceramic coated in a couple of weeks and guess I could plug the o2 sensor port while i'm at it.
