ANOTHER bag that works really well with the stock seat is the Wolfman Luggage Peak Tailbag. About $120. The gutter hooks fit perfectly under the seat edges.

 

Here's my Moto-Dry tail bag - opens to 30 liters and can then fit a helmet. Has rain cover too and similar price tag. I am installing a Givi rack as my bike is primarily used for daily commute
