I think the stock light is a bit weak when it gets really dark and the snow start falling. This one fits right in with the original fairings and has the same socket. But, I don't know how much better it is when riding in the dark, hard to find information about this specific light. It's a lot o money but if it delivers it could be worth it, otherwise there are other cheaper options. Sent a few messages to the sellers but they dont have videos of the light when riding in the dark.

Have you tried swapping your stock bulb for LED? I was pretty impressed with how much better the stock headlight is with a simple LED bulb swap. I live in the country which means dark country roads at night and i see much better. I don’t dread riding at night anymore

Hi, no only the stock bulb. Do you have any specific Led to recommend?

Yes the tripage gold or something like that. I also purchased some for my R1 from Amazon and never had a problem with them.

Ok, Thanks. I've bought a lot of stuff from ebay and for the most part it's been without problems. The thing I find hard is to judge the quality of electrical components. Bought a Tail Light once that disabled the ABS-system, took me a while to figure out where the problem was😁. Now I run the Bike Master tail Light in a Rizoma fitting. But some things need to work straight out of the box. Thats wy forums like this is great.

Anyone else got a led bulb fitted? They get a hole lot warmer than the halogen bulbs if I'm not mistaken. Do they create condensation?

Found a Head Light from a 2018 mt 09 for sale. Is there a better light pattern from this then the 1st gen? Has anyone tried putting a head light from a Gen 2 on a Gen 1 mt 09? If so, what kind of modifications needed to be done?

Bought this kit and thought I share my experience: the two smaller leds works fine, but the main bulb gives you about half the light/vision of a normal halogen bulb. The seller was compliant and gave 50% refund.
