Thanks, Dave Moss in the man, but that addresses the calipers. My issue is with the floating rotors having movement front to back.

 

I may be wrong, but that doesn't sound right. The only time I heard a clunk was when I attempted to push my bike but neglected to remove my rotor lock

Yes mine does that aswell, it's very noticeable on this bike.

 

Yesterday i had to brake hard in heavy traffic and had heard a loud noise towards the front wheel and was thinking what it might be. Now it makes sense

 

my 2021 does it any time the brakes are applied in a new direction. notice it most when doing a multi point turn to turn around in my driveway.

 

I confirm what they write above. In my new one 21, also in the dealer test copy , which I drove you can hear a loud clicking of the floating brake discs.

 

Floating calipers have movement axially, that's side to side in line with the axle. They should not have movement rotationally. I've just checked my '14 and there is no rotary play at all.
Clicks and clunks are often the pads moving in the caliper.

 

It's not the clamps that are causing the Clicks and clunks, only the brake discs are loose.

 

Well, if the discs are worn enough to move rotationally on the buttons or on the mounting bolts you have a real problem.

My 2021 SP does same thing when I first take her out and brake at the gate leaving my property. I used to get paranoid about it but now barely notice.

 

You should take it back to the dealer and let them fix thus issue.

 

At first read I thought you were describing a bad head bearing.

 

they are allowed to move. If you don't see damage, you'll know you're good to go.
