Hi guys,

I was riding along today and let the throttle off to change from standard mode to A mode, gave it a bit of a squirt in 3rd gear but I was on a public road so I thought better of it, laid off the throttle and scrolled past B mode back into standard mode and was cruising along at about 80kmph/50mph.

Shortly after (about 20 -30 seconds), the bike slowly lost power over about 10 seconds and then died. Dash lights and screen were on the whole time, no engine lights or anything out of the ordinary were on.

Pulled over, hit the starter and it fired back up again with full power and no issue. I rode it for another 20 kilometeres/12 miles after this with no issue.

Not exactly confidence inspiring though - I was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue?

Cheers

I had almost the same experience a few years ago. In my case I think I hold a little bit of throttle while I was changing mode and the bike suddenly went off. I turned off the key, restarted the bike and everything went perfectly since

OK cool, thanks for replying - I suspect it was something to do with the rider mode change as I usually don't scroll through them that quickly. Just weird.

Hopefully it doesn't happen again, if it does I'll post back to this thread.
