sure you want a stock seat? i paid 180 for a brand new comfort seat and it is worlds better. i used to have a 2014 but i have a 2015 now and it is worlds better and has a lip on the back for if you wanna wheelie now and again. the one i have says it is 2018 and up and it says MT-09 but it fits my 2015 better than the stock one does by far. less water straight down to the boys too if you hit some rain. heres where i got mine:

Thank you for the detail Akboarder! I 100% agree that the stock is not the long term option, I have different needs for it though.

well if you dont find one, partzilla for the stock seat was barely over 100$ i think the only downfall to them was it took a little while to get it in but i also live up in alaska so it may be quicker elsewhere. good luck.

I mean 2016...... but I think the 2014 - 2017 are all close but I dont know that for sure.....

All take off soon after purchase and no dents or rips on anything.
