Woodcraft rear sets - lateral play issue?

I just fitted Woodcraft rear sets to my 2023 MT09

Followed the instructions to the letter, reused the factory washer, gasket and sleeved bolt on the shifter side as shown on the diagram.

There is more lateral play than I would like - has anyone encountered this before?

Thanks

I use the shifter pivot on my Gen3, but it's mounted with the oe pegs.
It fits just like the oe, so I'm wondering if something may have been machined out of spec on the rearsets.
Can you post some pics of the shifter/peg on your bike?
Perhaps someone willo see it.

Thanks for the response.

Link to my Reddit post above showing a video of the play.
This video helps illustrate your question. Woodcraft has good customer service, you can reach out to them and see if they have any suggestions. If it were me, I would probably try using a dense plastic washer spacer. What size is that bolt, M8? Have a look on the McMaster website for something that might work.

I spaced the inner washer with one of the same ID and OD but a slightly thicker wall - it helped solve the issue. There is still lateral play with it feels more precise.

Both sides are now fitted and setup geometry wise - bringing my feet higher but more inline with my hips.

Shifting is noticeably more precise and it’s easier to find neutral - that could be the rear sets or my foot position.

Have emailed Woodcraft - once they reply I will update here - may help someone in the future.

Cheers

Very strange. All I did was transfer the pivot and keep the shim on the pivot bolt. It's impossible to get things mixed up. Tightened it up and it's very precise.
Perhaps too much tolerance during manufacturing???
