My FZ is my adrenalin ride . . . my '11 V-Strom is my Adventure/Touring ride. Hopefully, a FZ-09 Tenere/Adventure will replace the Strom . . .

Besides my Rapid Red FZ-09, there are a number of stable mates.

2009 Suzuki TU250X, primarily my daughter's bike but I enjoy an afternoon ride or a commute fairly often. My CBR250R, since traded for my FZ-09, is in the background. This was an early morning photo at a rally in 2012, and we were soon drying off our rides.

2008 Yamaha CP250X Morphous, my primary commuter for several years, still going strong at 40,000+ miles. My youngest daughters' favorite for two-up riding.

2004 Honda CRF150F (two of them), along with a Honda CRF70F sold about a year ago. This weekend, we are scheduled to pick up a third 2004 Honda CRF150F. Small enough to teach and practice motorcycle control in an off-road environment and just large enough for an adult to have some fun, the CRF150Fs will be ready to go in a couple months.

I like your wind shield. What is it and where did you get it?

How effective is it?

It is the stock windshield off the V-Strom (using the Strom "H" bracket). Works great. Reduces the upper body wind with no buffeting.
