I'm just curious as to how much money some of you were able to have knocked off of the OTD price of your FZ-09's by trading in your bike. What bike was it, miles, condition, etc...

I've heard stories of people getting over $3000 for Hyosungs and others of dealer's offering $700 for decent bikes. Idk what to expect!

I don't think anyone trades in anymore unless they are very well off financially or they have a rare bike. The dealer needs to give you a couple grand less than what it's worth to make any money. Easier just to put on fleabay. My dealer is letting my bike sit on consignment, then will roll that into the FZ.

I got $2500 for my 2007 Fz6 with 15,000 miles. I paid $3800 for it two years ago with 5,000 miles. It needed two tires though so I felt it was a fair offer.

I traded in my 2012 FZ6R and got KBB trade in value of $3999 for it. I would have gotten more but it only had 4k miles on it, and it has to have like 7500 to be re registered in CA

Took off $2500. I could have made a bit more on Craigslist instead of trading it in, but I'm a lazy bastard and wanted my 09 right then and there after seeing the red model.
