Hello from Tampa,
I remember this waiting when I was waiting for a 2009 vmax the dealer had a 1k deposit it was required even for them to order it. Now this FZ9 has my attention and a lot of it. I believe it will be an awesome bike to add to the stable,I am Looking forward to hanging out and learning more about this motorcycle. Been riding 42 years hope to go 42 more lol. But knowing my luck and Yamaha the FJR will
get redesigned with 1400cc's and a crossplane crank. That would be a sport tourer to the max:headbang:

I bought my F z in 2015 with 12012 kilometers ( 7500 miles) from a friend. It has a caméléon chain oiler, under handlebars and under headlight leds. Hand guards Givi top case and semi soft saddlebags. Ultrasound whistle, trickle charger, mirrors with led lights front and in the mirrors, modified seat fatter for driver and passenger. Red led lights on top case bracket for added brake lights visibility. Lighter for powering accessories, Garmin gps and mini black windshield. I think I listed all the little changes done to my mount now a tad over 65.000 kilometers (40,650 miles) Had only 3 other bikes before; a 74 Honda Cb 350 in 1980, a 1981 Suzuki GS850GS from 1981 to 1995 and a 1984 Honda VF1100 Sabre the year 2014 In Quebec there is a law about mandatory winter tires, not that I would ride an FZ in the snow, but, still,I used to ride as soon as the roads were clear and close to 32*farenheit. I found this forum because just today after I decided I was bored of lighting up tree tops instead of the road ahead. I’ve had to look up fuse placement in 2015 after plugging a compressor in my lighter socket to inflate a leaking tire which led to brake lights and rear parking lights failure. The caméléon oiler made my chain and sprockets last 26,500 miles, I don’t have to adjust my chain, just clean it occasionally.
