Vcyclenut Flash - Worth twice the price!

5461 Views 29 Replies 14 Participants Last post by  CBX-6
Just got out for my first legit ride after getting my ECU back from David. I feel like I have a new bike! Throttle response is crisp and smooth. The engine braking that used to sprain my neck (and nuts) is gone.

Recommend this flash to anyone, hands down!

Yeah, D a v e ' s flash is so amazing... It gave me a bad accident and totaled the bike . Broke my left leg , 8 ribs, separated my shoulder and broke my scapula... LMFAO!

Just joking guys... just joking!
Listen, I get that you meant it as a joke, but being in a serious accident isn't anything to joke about. Having watched someone spend 2 weeks in a coma, and seeing them still learning to walk and talk, I can say that it's not anything I want to see happen to somebody, let alone being 2 weeks in the ICU.

The other point also being that the flash had nothing to do with a car pulling out in front of him. If I remember correctly this is your first bike, so let me tell you going from a carbureted bike to this newer system, the throttle is extremely twitchy and can cause some serious issues in corners if you're pushing it. The first gen bikes being even more notorious for it, some incredibly experienced and skilled riders have had issues with the throttle.

The flash not only helps with throttle response, but provides lower fan temps, provides better fuel mapping for those of us with modifications. Other than that Dave is an awesome guy, he deals with stupid questions all day every day and I've never seen him act in poor taste, even over on the Facebook page. Plus his name is Dave, so bonus points for being on Team Dave.

Again, I don't think you meant anything bad, but think about what you're posting before you do. The guy has a long road ahead of him and his bike is trashed because of someone else. CBX, I wish the best for your recovery.

Guys, I meant nothing of the sort except a small attempt at laughter. I meant absolutely nothing in regards to the services provided and I do not disagree one bit. I've removed my comments since they were clearly misunderstood.

I apologize!

Yes ....Daves flash and amazing customer service combined with the filter and SC Project exhaust really woke the bike up and throttle input was greatly improved! Unfotunatley for me after about 75/100 miles of seat time, I was in a bad accident and totaled the bike . Broke my left leg , 8 ribs, separated my shoulder and broke my scapula. Happy to still be here. In ICU for 2 weeks!!!........Daves flashed ECU with some other primo items will be for sale soon, once I get on my feet and settle with my insurance company......not my first big wipeout but may be the last at 59 yrs old...... Have a safe riding season.....🏁xXx🏁
Hope you're not thinking of giving up riding . I totaled a 7 week old XSR900 when I was hit in a parking lot.
You can see that I broke the triple clamps clean off the steering bolt.

Broke a chunk of bone clean off my knee and fracture my sternum in my chest. May 14,2018. I ended up in the trauma center for 5 days.

I kept going to the dealer until I could bend my leg enough to buy a 2017 FJ09 which was 6 months later on Nov 1, 2018. That week I bought this.

I modded that Bike and flashed by Vcyclenet. I loved it. hit 100 mph on the highway entrance ramp right after I pulled out of the dealer. Kept it for 1 year and needed a faster bike so I traded it on an MT 10and it is my current motorcycle. Flashed by Vcyclenut 2 weeks after I got the bike home. I'm into my second season with it. totally modded out. Nothing left to do, so now I just maintain it. I'm totally in love with this motorcycle.

The only mod left for me to do was my knee so I had a total replacement on April 8 2021. Was back on my bike 4 weeks later and everyone was asounded because I'm going to be 65 years old in July. It was a great decision.

I posted all of this to encourage you to not quit. It sucks to go through but they're only temporary roadblocks. for me it's the difference between becoming an old man or living an active life.

Reminds me of a favorite movie quote of mine.

Why do we fall, sir? So we can learn to pick ourselves back up.
