Listen, I get that you meant it as a joke, but being in a serious accident isn't anything to joke about. Having watched someone spend 2 weeks in a coma, and seeing them still learning to walk and talk, I can say that it's not anything I want to see happen to somebody, let alone being 2 weeks in the ICU.Yeah, D a v e ' s flash is so amazing... It gave me a bad accident and totaled the bike . Broke my left leg , 8 ribs, separated my shoulder and broke my scapula... LMFAO!
Just joking guys... just joking!
The other point also being that the flash had nothing to do with a car pulling out in front of him. If I remember correctly this is your first bike, so let me tell you going from a carbureted bike to this newer system, the throttle is extremely twitchy and can cause some serious issues in corners if you're pushing it. The first gen bikes being even more notorious for it, some incredibly experienced and skilled riders have had issues with the throttle.
The flash not only helps with throttle response, but provides lower fan temps, provides better fuel mapping for those of us with modifications. Other than that Dave is an awesome guy, he deals with stupid questions all day every day and I've never seen him act in poor taste, even over on the Facebook page. Plus his name is Dave, so bonus points for being on Team Dave.
Again, I don't think you meant anything bad, but think about what you're posting before you do. The guy has a long road ahead of him and his bike is trashed because of someone else. CBX, I wish the best for your recovery.
