Ouch! I had a ZR-7S, which is basically the same engine. Thing was fairly bulletproof. Had a friend with the GPz750 Turbo. That bike was just plain evil. Fun to ride, but if people think we have sensitive throttles on modern bikes, whack open the throttle on a turbo bike with an 80's era turbo on it. Nothing...nothing...nothing...nothing....BAM.....POWER! You actually have to get in the throttle really early on them before entering the corner so the turbo spools up before you're leaned over.I spun a bearing on my Kawassaki GPz750 doing long wheelies. I was a lucky man that I was able to save it. This was before oil jets and proper flow dynamics.
