It's hard to tell but the tail Tighty may interfere with the aluminum rack?

They look OK. But not sure they are as strong as the ones offered from Evotech. The metal between the front and mid looks very thin. I went with the R&G front and mid sliders. Hope I never have to test out their structural integrity!

They're "available" to Canadian dealers for ordering - but they aren't getting them yet. The rumor is that the US won't list them to the dealers until the orders can actually be fullfilled - and that we'll get them at the same time as our neighbors to the north... I wonder if SW MoTech will get theirs on the market first?

Mine is on it's way from YamahaGenuineParts.com. They have black and silver available for shipping. $219.99 + $35 shipping - that's Canadian - so it's about $240. I also ordered the 39L case and pad - but they aren't ready to ship yet.

I want the OEM because it's a solid one piece unit, and with the Yamaha case I won't need an adapter plate. So when my daughter wants to go I drop the padded case onto it - and I don't have to look at an adapter plate when it's not there. I wish we could get a Pirates Lair backrest for it - I'd leave that in place. Hmmm - Jerry told me he wanted to make one for the FZ-09 but wasn't going to be able to - I need to ask him about making one for Yamaha's new standard case mount...

Hey @JustWantToRide, the links don't show up- something about cookies show up though they are allowed on my computer? And going to the site doesn't show 2014 models or the FZ09....mind sharing how to order these parts? I want the OEMs as well because they do seem the most well integrated out of all the other racks.

One more reason to wait a couple of months for the SW Motech.Im thinking that there will be about a $50 savings
On top of a well built crafted item. Sounds like you'll be forced to use Yamaha top box.
