Lol, I was gonna write it..

Weird, I used a cheap bi-metal blade and the blade actually wore down a bit. Mind you I was trying to cut through the weld which is probably why now that I think of it.

I didn't bother going through the weld. I pressed the blade into the edge between the weld and the pipe and off she came in about 10 seconds. Finished up the inside and outside with a die grinder really quickly and stuck it all together. Start to finish in about 25 minutes.

Nice... In my head my install only took that long, too.

I definitely don't have a die grinder. The angle grinder on the outside of the weld and a handheld circular file on the inside got it done but it took a while. Gotta make do with whatcha got!

Port Dover is sooooooooooo frickin busy, it's just crazy on the 13th. Do you go to any of the local cruises?

Oh, and people, it's Motosocial night tomorrow (Wednesday) night. It's a really great get together to see some bikes, have a coffee, and talk about bike stuff. Get down there if you can, it's such a great atmosphere.

I've never been to Port Dover - that could be fun! I'll keep you posted on whether or not I can make that. Let us know if you end up riding Sunday.

Yes, last time I went to Port Dover there was about 150,000 bikers there, it gets very very busy indeed.

We've got a group heading down from Midland...maybe we'll see you down there! I'll keep an eye out for all the FZ-09s!!!

I'm up for a meet/ride but not much into the bike nights or dover type events. Been there, done that kinda thing...
I'd like to get involved but I work every saturday and race most Sundays.
Evenings, Fridays or the odd Sunday is best for me.
Hopefully we can make it happen sometime.

Anybody going for a ride Saturday afternoon? Or sometime Sunday?
