If only i still lived in the area I would come enjoy the track! Last 3 places the navy had me was Norfolk, VA; Jacksonville, FL; and Gulfport, MS so San diego is a bit of a change!

Are you with the STT group that did/does the Road America days over the 4th of July? Was up there last year and I thought they said it was the south group. Already bought my days for this year. We are doing 4 trackdays with 2-3 days of driving that week!

Being a Southern guy, I've never ventured that far north to those tracks...Grattan, Autoban, etc. STT definitely does quite a few days there though and I've heard that it's a great track, but no personal experience there myself.

Road America is a "Northern Region" event of STT's, but there are several of our Instructors in the South that do that event every year, as well as some of the Southern STT members. I've never been, as it would be a 16 to 18 hour drive for me and my wife and I already work 16 to 18 Southern Region days each year. I've heard it is a great track, but it's just too far away considering my commitment to the Southern Region. Have fun and remember..........."Pin it to win it"!

I've been on Grattan and another in Michigan called Gingerman, both being in the same state and being G____ names I get them mixed up. I like them both, the one North of Grand Rapids better, that's Grattan, right?

Lol, yeah, that will test your suspension.
