The cast Yamaha rear rack is much nicer than tubular Givi, Shad etc.. Note that to fit the saddlebags on a 2017 you will need the Shad saddlebag supports - or relocate the turn signals.

Another plug for the OEM rack: In addition to being a nicely-crafted piece of aluminum, it's also thick enough to tap threaded holes for accessories, strap connections, etc.

What year is your bike? I have a 2019 MT-09. Will the brackets fit my bike?

I don’t see why not, will need to make sure they fit. It was on my 2015. It will mount onto passenger rear sets.
