Thank you sir, you are a good man.
Thanks

Currently fitting 6 inch BST rear wheel from Duc 999.

Have it mocked up, now, for measurements and spacer making.

Due to the hub width, I may end up back cutting 8mm the caliper mount on the vert mill.

Will also take 4 mm off sprocket carrier.

Surprisingly enough, the edge to edge width of the rear tire is the same as OEM at 7 1/2 inch.

It is about 1/4 inch from the inside of the chain guard.

Will see how size ( 190 ) and profile of Metzler Race Tec will look / fit.

Will probably be ok.

Thanks......

Have a 2nd bike coming in Dec 12 for standby measurements,

and as a donor for items to be sent out, like ECU, for example.

Bike # 2 may end up with a front end from another bike with ohlins

internals, or a complete Ohlins front end.

Both bikes will be worked on back and forth to cut down on down time

One bike may end up as our new camera bike since the Duc 1100 Hypermoto has trouble keeping up.

lol @ the Duc 1100 Hypermoto has trouble keeping up.
You can see where he hit the rev limiter at 92 mph before going to the next gear.

The rider on it is no slouch.

The Duc showed 103 to 105 mph at the cow pasture straight.

FZ 09 was at 109 mph, at moderate rpm.

Only have 90 miles on the bike at this point, so we didn't rev it too high.

Part of the Skunk Werkz.

Have TIG welder nearby, heavy drill press, band saw, bead blast, parts cleaner, and refrigerator in the next room.

The one in question was made in the 1940's and still works.

We got it from an estate house I bought / sold in the late 90's.

It only cost $ 7 a month to run along with 2 flurescent bulbs that were left on during re-hab.

Currently has a giant 5 liter bottle of Arrogant Bastard Ale and some Gatorade in it.
