It matches your lipstick ;P
Uh, you've been peeking again haven't you?

I guess I'm going to have to start closing my shades at night, knowing that you're lurking around the interwebs!

I was going to mount clear wheel covers and put hamsters in mine... figure they'd be good for another 1-2 ft/lbs of torque! j/k! :D

I put Streetglo 1/4 inch black reflective tape on mine. <$14 shipped.
With a 3M tape applicator from an old Progrip(?) kit, it took about 20 minutes, tops and the tape is dead even all around.

Not at all, but it's useful if you have the bike on stands when you apply them, though not necessary. Make sure you clean the surface with some rubbing alcohol before applying the tape.

It's reflective, but i think for most people it's just for style. The only negative is that some places will scratch your rim tape when they are swapping your tires.... they just have to be a little bit more careful.
