The FZ 09 with the white wheels is now the FZ 07 with the white wheels and the Ohlins front end.

The other FZ 09 is in The Skunk Werkz getting an Ohlins front end from a 2005 Ducati Multistrada.

The Duc being the best I could find with the long 31 1/2 inch forks the FZ 09 requires.

The FZ 07 has a lower neck and shorter front end and will take a more conventional sport bike fork at 28 to 28 1/2 inch long.

I live, literally, right across the street from The Tight Side of Palomar.

Rocks are from my driveway upon return from a run.

DAYUM! You're laying down the power out the turns like a mofo...

It's like a 60 mile ride just to the hill for me, but I'll be making a regular appearance.

What tire is that?

Metzler Racetec soft compound.

I usually run medium in the rear and soft in the front, but they only had a soft rear at the time.

I'm at Palomar every Sunday, rain or shine .

Anybody on this website can hit me up with a PM if they're going to be there.

Going to try to finish my FZ 09 by then, with an Ohlins front end conversion.
