The journalistic wing of Revzilla, Common Tread, is at it again with the FZ-09. You may recall their last installment: Truth in Journalism: The FZ-09 Long Term Test. In this installment, Common Tread sat down with Nick from Stoltec Moto to discuss all things suspension.
As many of you know, there is some considerable room for growth in the suspension of the FZ09. Revzilla first met Nick Stolten of Stoltec Moto right here on FZ09.org. Something had to be done with the suspension setup on their long term test bike, and after they got a chance to ride Nick's bike, their suspension guy had officially been selected. Nick's solutions for the soft suspension of the FZ09 goes far beyond the "normal" fixes that you might see on most bikes, he designs the suspension setup for the individual as there is no such thing as a one size fits all setup. He will tailor a suspension setup specifically for you and your type of riding.
There's quite a bit of detail in the article, so I won't spoil it for you. Have a read for yourself: Yamaha FZ-09: Improving the suspension - Common Tread - RevZilla
