My bike was manufactured last November.
The recall is for september-november bikes in regards to the transmission piece.
I purchased the unit new off the show room floor 3 weeks ago.
Safe to say it was corrected by the dealer before its sale?

It might be a good idea to check your VIN against the numbers of the stated recall. Never "ass-u-me" the stealership has (already) done the right thing.

Check the first recall thread in this forum, it has the range of numbers being recalled.

Don't assume, the service department of the dealer can plug in your VIN to the Yamaha dealer website and pull the pending recalls. Leave nothing to chance.
