How difficult is this to do on the tank? I've got some little dents and scratches on my tank and was thinking of vinyl wrapping it to cover up as much as I could. This looks awesome as well, just a really good color for the bike.
I like it!
Makes me want to do an entire CF vinyl wrap now. :p
Buy real carbon fiber parts, you've got the money.

It depends, are you ok with doing it in 3 pieces? If so fairly easy. If you want to do it all in one shot, it gets alot more complicated, but it can be done with the right technique! (If youre thinking carbon, or other textured vinyl, it gets much more difficult as you have to match the grain, and be mindful of overstretching

The carbon you see is real carbon, only the satin white flip is the wrap haha but if you're trying to do crabon vinyl on the whole bike, you're brave!
You hooligan 😂 wrap looks mega, you did that yourself?
Has anyone wrapped the front fender with faux carbon?

I just bought some i hope pretty decent stuff and was going to just do the front in 3 pieces but could it be done in one piece with a 16" x 60" roll?

Haha yeah I did most of it in my driveway. The plastics on the tail under the seat I took off and did them inside.

I tired doing the front fender last year. I was able to get it done in 5 pcs, and I was mad as hell and cursing the whole time. It took REALLY long, and the product wasnt very good. If I was to do it again, I could probably do it alot better, but I would not wanna go through that again. To me it was a much better deal to just get a real carbon front fender (the one over the wheel).

That being said, I was trying to wrap it with Vvivid Vinyl, so maybe if I used Avery Dennison I would have had a better time
I plan on 6 pieces but only the front half and sides that protect the sliders. I may add the reflective red rim tape at the 2 joints. I’ve applied clear and black stipled film. Not concerned about varied orientation at the 2 lap joints.

I have the Vvivid Black 4D True R Semi-Gloss Carbon Fiber 17.75 Inches x 60 Inches Vinyl Wrap Roll with VViViD XPO Air Release Technology

Post some pics how it comes out! I wish you luck, I wanna see, im curious!
Send a list of all mods. I like the steering stabilizer. I haven't had an issue with tank slap on a 2021 MT09 but never know. Is it worth installing?

I will let you know about the stabilizer possibly next week, waiting for my tires to be mounted currently. Feels good tho at standstill.

Installed: Mad hornets levers, windscreen is off Amazon, Pro Taper handlebars, Driven grips, WometTech crash protection kit (frame, axel, spool, and bar end sliders), TST Industries taillight, and fender delete. Yoshimura R77 full exhaust. ECU flash by Vcyclenut. Steering stablizer (probably off Amazon, bought it used on forum). Carbon intake covers and front fender.

To be installed: SS Brake lines all around, Rear Sets (by some Italian company, got em off forum).

I think I got everything.
How does wrap hold up to the elements? Outdoors? Accidental gas spills on the tank? I like my graphite but would be a fun project

Holds up just fine, I spill gas on it all the time lmao. Elements also no problem, if wrapped correctly. If you wrap it and leave alot of tension in the film, it will peel, but if film is "relaxed" it aint going nowhere. I power wash it all the time, and i bring the nozzle like 4-6" away, with no problem
