As the North American distributor for Shifting ContRoll, I'm pleased to be the newest supporting vendor here on FZ09.org and offer our QS kit for the 2017+ MT09 and FZ09 bikes. This kit is bolt-on, plug and play; installation is simply a matter of replacing the stock shift rod in the linkage with the shifter kit, then plugging the sensor into the connector on the harness. Depending on the model, the QS function in the ECU is activated according to the procedure in the owner's manual.
The FJ09 and XSR900, as well as earlier models of MT09 and FZ09 can also use the kit, but require a controller to operate the QS function. TTR can provide a splice-in controller for track machines, or a plug-in version for road bikes. A third-party controller such as a Power Commander with built-in QS function will also work.
The shifter kit sells for US$150 plus $15 for the postman. The splice-in controller will cost $75, or an additional $25 for the plug-in version.
