Sometimes the rain never stops here, and the winter likes to hang around for 6 months... These people are built differently. I struggle sometimes. Im more of a sunny coasty beach type of guy.Don't worry.
When I moved to the mountains of N Georgia full-time, it wasn't long before I realized it rains quite a bit up here.
Even so, it's a damn site better than having hurricanes every year.
I love adventure riding, That will be an amazing ride for sure. something i wil try maybe next year. i also am heading south to Greece on the TET trail through the Balkans, and back through turkey. I'll be leaving this September as soon as the kids start school again... this is my adventure bike, and best pal "Loki"Lucky you. We have toured Southern Spain and Morocco on bikes. Our next big adventure is going to be Spain, France, and Italy. We use IMT Bike in Spain for our tours. I have one more good one left in me. I plan on doing it the day I retire in a couple of years. We will have to look you up.
