When I traveled to Italy years ago as a Florida native, I was enthralled with all of the amazing riding opportunities.

Thanks for the welcome guys, It is true , i have some of the most amazing twisting roads up in these mountains. i will definitely take some photos . I cant believe it either, i luckily married an Italian girl who then showed me her village in the Dolomites.. As soon as i arrived i was hooked. the rest is history.
Its been raining non stop for 1 month, unfortunately.
That's a great story Bill and I can only dream about how exotic it must be. Just the food alone would be something for me to think about.
So what village do you live in? (asking for a friend)
Full Disclosure: I am not a stalker.
Thats ok, no problem. I live in a Village called ,Laggio DI Cadore. Belluno.
Okay Bill, I just took a photo tour of your hometown on Google Maps and you are now officially my hew best friend!

Don't worry.
When I moved to the mountains of N Georgia full-time, it wasn't long before I realized it rains quite a bit up here.
Even so, it's a damn site better than having hurricanes every year.

Sometimes the rain never stops here, and the winter likes to hang around for 6 months... These people are built differently. I struggle sometimes. Im more of a sunny coasty beach type of guy.
We had a storm hit us in 2018 "VAIA", the biggest and most powerful in history for this region, Our roof lifted off and slammed down, i am not kidding. Others completely gone in the morning, Every road blocked by fallen trees, Sections of the valley with ten of thousands of trees all knocked over like dominos...Luckily they build there homes here like tanks.
Lucky you. We have toured Southern Spain and Morocco on bikes. Our next big adventure is going to be Spain, France, and Italy. We use IMT Bike in Spain for our tours. I have one more good one left in me. I plan on doing it the day I retire in a couple of years. We will have to look you up.
