Hi - joined tonight in advance of picking up my 2014 MT tomorrow-week - that's 8 more sleeps and I feel like a kid at Christmas! - can't wait! Rode one at the local dealer and was suitably impressed - so bought one! Had a few bikes before - this will predominantly get me to work and back as well as weekend squirts up the Old Road. Great to be here! - looking forward more to riding, though... - cheers

Thanks for the welcomes and the promise of many hours drooling about bikes on this site... Anyway, here's a picture of the new steed I'm picking up next weekend! Stock standard at present but awesome blue wheels and grey paint scheme (race blue?). Cheers

Very nice Max, it was worth the wait, wasn't it? I like your gear by the way.

Thanks Ricky - it shows it does get cold down in these parts - temp was around 8 degrees Celsius as picked up bike in southern NSW. But prob not as cold as up your way! I have a daughter living in Toronto which is colder still! But the most challenging part was being on the back of my mate's BMW GS800 all the way there! I do prefer to be at the front and in control - but he was kind enough to help me out yesterday. Bike ran like a dream on the return - seat is a tad firm for long journeys, though. Bike now has 2400 km on it - 2014 model stock. - cheers!
