I've been in the market for a new bike for about a year.. The FZ is my 6th bike, and BY FAR my favorite! The torque that this thing makes is just amazing. I still can't get over how much bike you get for the price tag. Anyway I picked this thing up last weekend.. I have around 250 miles on it so far.. The first order of business was obviously to clean up the tail. I bought the Rizoma tail light.. and two yellow 12mm LED bolt lights as turn signals. And another bolt style LED light as a license plate light. Custom fabricated some brackets to mount the license plate. I am very pleased with how it turned out. The 12mm yellow turn signals are plenty bright. The Rizoma tail light is bright enough, but I am going to get a flasher module to strobe my brake light for a split second when its applied.

Always loved the tucked license plate but after getting ticketed 3 times on my ZX6R I decided it wasn't worth it and stick to regular fender eliminators. Looks good tho.

Like the bike, not a fan of tucked plate though.

Welcome and congratulations. Great looking machine and your fender eliminator is super clean. The tucked plate may be legal, but could definitely get you pulled over a lot.

Enjoy!

image.jpg image.jpg That tail section looks great with the new tail light. I'm doing Something similar on my 15' Matte Silver. Just waiting on my tail light.

Nice - I'm guessing the little round led's are turn signals ... where did you source those from? And just cut holes in the plastic and tighten from the back?

Sorry I am just now replying.. the signals are 12mm LED bolts from superbrightleds.com https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/led-wired-bolts/bolt-beam-12mm-led-light/1494/

They are very bright, i don't have any complaints.. I used one of these to light up my license plate.. https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/led-wired-bolts/miniature-led-license-plate-bolt/1685/

The Rizoma light looks nice, but it really isn't very bright..

I don't have any close up pictures of my plate brackets, basically I just too some aluminum strips, and bent them into the shape of a 7, and drilled some holes.. nothing fancy.
