After almost 10 months of no throttle therapy, my 2022 MT-09SP finally arrived! It's 1 of the only 2 SP's that will be sold on Maui this year. I must say, it looks waaaay better in person. It's so beautiful, I almost cried. LOL!
This bike is amazing!
I've had it 6 days now and I'm about half way through mods install.
Remaining mods to install: Evotech tail tidy, frame sliders & radiator guard. TST front blinkers w/halo running lights, Graves adapters for bar end mirrors so I can use OEM bar end weights, ASV shorty levers.
Don't hate me, but I'm not planning on getting an aftermarket exhaust. Not unless someone makes an underbelly aftermarket. If not, I'll probably gut the stock exhaust and use high temp black paint or have it ceramic coated.

First, BEAUTIFUL SP Maui dude! I really like the color combinations that Yamaha has put out with their MT's!
I also prefer an underbelly exhaust, such as this Lv Race Stainless Steel for Yamaha Mt-09 2021 - 2022, or LEOVINCE 14371EB FULL EXHAUST SYSTEM MT09 MT-09 21-22

Very nice congrats! I love mine as well. I also chose not to do the exhaust, I like the sound. Only challenge is it rusts easily so you have to clean it a lot. Good luck!

Do you mind sharing your bike built date? I just pick mine up this past weekend and it was built in 2/22. Seems like it was sitting around for a while since mine was a bit dusty for a brand new bike. I wonder if the delay is from shipping and not from parts availability.
