I don't know for sure, but unless your bars are sitting way more forward than stock, you shouldn't have an issue.

Unfortunately I cannot give you my clearance dimensions right now. (Bike gets stored at my parents place during the off season) but I can grab some pics tomorrow with a tape measure next to the bars in the lock to lock position.

Forgot to grab that measurement since I was riding it all weekend.

However, it is still for sale, even though the function of the screen is great.

i was wondering why you are selling your wind screen. I bought the touring model, i love the shape and the fit but their web site sucks ! they aren't very clear on the color options. I ordered a Gloss black one but i was under the impression the only the bottom portion gloss black with the remainder of the screen clear! it's not what i really wanted but I'm getting use to it. the positive of screwing up my order is the it's make the instruments a lot easier to see in the sun light......it's sort of growing on me !

Pictures on the website were deceiving, but some people like it, so that's why it's for sale. I think it's ugly, too much of a touring look.

Hows the wind protection, i won't have it on unless I'm going long distance so looks aren't particularly important.

Like I mentioned, the wind protection was great, and it really helped in higher speeds.

For me, personally, I tend to avoid highways on the bike, and any speed runs are in short bursts and a windscreen is not something I need at the moment. But no, the function was great, the looks, not so much.

You said function, not wind protection. It's best to make sure IMO. It doesn't look great, but it is a lot better looking than the touring screen.

Next question, does it wiggle at speed? It drives me crazy when windscreens wiggle. Thanks

It does, not too badly, but it does. MRA is making new brackets, and will send them out to the customers that bought them when they are ready.

You, along with some other Twisted Throttle customers, recently purchased an MRA screen for your 2014 Yamaha FZ-09. We received feedback from some of our customers that included concerns that the windscreen, when installed as instructed, had more movement at higher speeds than intended.

You are being notified at this time to make you aware of this issue and to let you know we are addressing it. Although not dangerous, the instability at higher speeds is not consistent with MRA's quality standards and will be fixed.

Affected screens are:

MRA Double Bubble RacingScreen
MRA TouringScreen
MRA VarioTouringScreen

We contacted MRA and asked them to evaluate the issue. They are currently in the process of redesigning the hardware that will stabilize the affected screens. When the redesign is completed, you will receive the revised hardware at no cost to you.

At this time, we do not have a firm shipping date. The issue has only just now been identified and MRA is diligently working to resolve this as quickly as possible.

**A special note to anyone receiving this email who has ordered an MRA screen for the FZ-09 from either Twisted Throttle or one of our dealers but has not yet received it: we are holding all further orders pending receipt of the updated hardware, so your screen will ship with all revisions completed.

Thank you for your confidence in us and we are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We will notify you as soon as the replacement parts are in stock, but if you have any questions in the meantime please do not hesitate to contact us at 855-255-5550 or [email protected].

So you would be able to send the brackets when they arrive?

I'm hoping when I get the date on the updated brackets, I can get them shipped directly to you. Otherwise, I'll have them sent out as soon as I get my hands on them.

Did the gloss black cost extra? sounds like a good deal to me.

I just know some other brands were charging more for different colors.

I've never paid too much attention to the price of things I want. As with this, it was an impulse buy that didn't work out. But I never mind fielding questions as it all works out eventually =]
