Hi guys, totally new here, but i figured I'll probably find some help here.
I have a '15 MT 09 with the "standard" akrapovic exhaust (not the carbon one) and I find the exhaust very quiet for an aftermarket.
however, with the baffle out, it's a different world, way too loud for me and everyone else within a mile radius.
I'm thinking of cutting some pipe out, but I see a lot of people cutting the "connector" pipes, creating some sort of chamber within the baffle.
Is is really safe to do that? I feel like it might mess up something with the exhaust gases flow or something, but then again, i don't know nothing about that.
My real question is, if i cut the bits of pipes that are actually sticking out, will that make a noticeable difference? I'd rather check before messing up a £50 spare baffle.
Thanks!
