Thank you, sir. I had read some discouraging reviews of Motostarz but I'll reconsider and most likely end up ordering from them.
That's the idea! No sense paying another 30% for the same stuff + ShippingI got mine from motostarz. Was about $550 and free shipping. The exchange rate is so bad your better off buying from a Canadian supplier.
My primary concern is safety...then cost. The M4 seems like the best "budget" alternative to a full exhaust swap. Thanks for the recommendation though!+1 for Motostarz or Bayside Performance
I was considering an M4 until I read their installation instructions recommending repacking every 5000 miles??
Now considering a Hindle or Akro Carbon.
Hindle is local, they North of Whitby. They have good products, i wasn't aware they had something for the FZ09. Just looked at the catalog, full system for 525 plus tax.In the past, Hindle often have a booth at the big bike shows in Toronto, and have some pretty good discounts. There's a bike show next weekend at the international center.
In Toronto on kijiji there's an add for a local seller of the M4

Thank you! Turns out they're fairly local....and their website has a list price of $629. I'll give them a call today. In the past, Hindle often have a booth at the big bike shows in Toronto, and have some pretty good discounts. There's a bike show next weekend at the international center.

Looks like 525+ tax + muffler (~$350). I'd go for the Hindle over the M4 if price was comparable.Hindle is local, they North of Whitby. They have good products, i wasn't aware they had something for the FZ09. Just looked at the catalog, full system for 525 plus tax.
That Kijiji add price is about 20 more than what I paid all in but no need to wait for delivery if they have it in stock. If they don't have it in stock still always better to support local.
ah I didn't realize that - I was finding it too cheap for a full system.Looks like 525+ tax + muffler (~$350). I'd go for the Hindle over the M4 if price was comparable.
I feel you. I'm getting a little older now and loud isn't always better. Unfortunately I live in a part of the city where no one seems to care that there are others on the road so I'd like the bike to be a little bit loud so that people know I'm in the area.ah I didn't realize that - I was finding it too cheap for a full system.
M4 is still the way to go - However I like a quiet exhaust and this thing IMO is loud even with the DB killer
if anyone else is interested...I just called them. They said they'll honour the price in the ad for another 24 hours. I'll be meeting them at their brick and motor location tomorrow to order. In the past, Hindle often have a booth at the big bike shows in Toronto, and have some pretty good discounts. No trouble so far in dealing with Dynamic Cycle Parts. I'll end up with the pipe on the bike before doing anything with the ECU/Power Commander though. I'm thinking I'll go the VCycleNut flashed ECU route over the Power Commander though. A quick shifter is in my futureHi Killyin,
I'll be interested to see what your experience is with this. I'm considering buying the M4 slip on as well given I can get the pipe AND a power commander for less than a full exhaust.
I've been thinking about a quick shifter, too. I'll end up with my flashed ECU (vcyclenut) back in the bike before I get my M4No trouble so far in dealing with Dynamic Cycle Parts. Man, that's not far off what I paid for a full Hindle CF system. I think I paid $785 + tax.Put in an order at Dynamic Cycle Parts this afternoon. They honoured the sale price at $578 + tax.
~2 weeks turn around time quoted on shipping/receipt.
We'll see what happens!
Quick calc based on the prices listed on the site came out to about $1000. You must have gotten a pretty good deal.Man, that's not far off what I paid for a full Hindle CF system. I think I paid $785 + tax.
