After making it through 17 pages I see I am the oldest - 68. First motorcycle was a 1966 Yamaha Twin-Jet 100. (50 years riding) I wonder if I have owned the most three cylinder motorcycles - 6 - 2 Kawasaki H1's, 1 XS750 Yamaha, 1 Triumph Sprint ST, 1 Triumph Sprint RS, and now 1 XSR 900 (60th Anniversary).

Based on the good work from JWest it looks like genius is not confined to an age bracket. This is my 2nd bike at 34 and it’s been awesome, though in comparison to my starter Rebel that may not be too useful a recomendation.

34, picked up mine in July. I haven't ridden in a few years and man, i forget how fun it is! The xsr is somewhat similar to my first bike, a 1983 Seca 900. Which was a great motorcycle, but i don't miss those carbs one bit. Now i just have to get used to chain maintenance ;) Good to see a diverse age range.

Turned 53 two days ago. Just got back from 5 day ride with my son, my brother and two buddies. ZERO regrets on trading in 2008 FZ1 for my 2016 XSR900

Approaching 70 years in this plain of reality. Been riding 2 wheels since the early '60's. About a year ago traded in F6B for XSR900. Several weeks ago traded in FJR1300 for 650 Burgman. Several years ago told myself that 70 would be a good time to get rid of the big heavy bikes. So now I have...........Silverwing, Burgman, NM4, DL650, FJ09, XSR and '75 CB750. Last summer had my first incident when DUI lady side swiped me on the Silvering, nothing too serious for me or scooter but rude awakening. I think I still have some miles left.

36 years young. I echo the sentiment that this felt like my forever bike after just a few minutes from the dealer. Previous bikes were a ‘00 SV650, ‘01 SV100 (naked), ‘13 Ducati Streetfighter 848, ‘17 Kymco Kpipe 125 (fun and cheap) and then my ‘16 XSR900. Best bike I’ve owned, but I do miss my SV1000.

57 here (58 soon), and got the XSR as a replacement for the '08 Ducati 848 I sold about a year and half ago (with 18,700 miles on the clock from new). I've put 4,500 or so on Samantha Bee (she's a 60th, so...) since delivery this past January. I also have a very lonely '13 R1200RT (with 24K) that I need to start riding again, if the Mid-Atlantic temps ever start feeling like winter this year. And if I can pry myself off the XSR...

35.

Was riding 25 & 50cc motorized bikes in age of 13 without any papers...
Started again in age of 35 with an approach "now or never". Bought MT125 to learn again and train. Did training on NC750S. Then wife bought me XSR900 Abarth. Got only aroun 800 miles experience this year, but love the XSR already.
