I picked up my Rapid Red FZ09 last Tuesday. I had a HD 1200 Sportster Custom and a DRZ400SM that I rode one or the other until last week. After getting the FZ09, I decided that I needed to let the other two go because I knew they would just sit in the garage. The FZ is a fun bike and i'm looking forward to making some changes to it based on posts that I have seen on this forum. Great information here.
I want to remove that thing hanging off the back, remove the rear pegs, remove seat strap, change levers to ASV shortys to start with. Eventually change the exhaust and get some suspension work done to it. There will be more i'm sure. I'm just enjoying riding it for now.
I sold both of my WR250R's to get the FZ, and I just sold my CBR954RR because I knew shortly thereafter that I would rarely ever ride it again. I would rather someone else enjoy it while I was out enjoying my FZ.
Jesse, Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new FZ in Rapid Red.
