I was doing the Ca Evap, taking it out. and I got to the steps after removing it and got lost. I need your guys help please. I have no idea where to reconnect. The only two lines left flow straight to the ground, I'm guessing overflow. HELP ME PLEASE image.jpg 2image.jpg 3image.jpg 4image.jpg

I do know the hose on the right side is goes to the engine, the other is the fuel overflow.

Both of those hoses attach to the fuel tank.

Pardon my ignorance, what does this do?

For the most part it is part of venting the tank.

Fumes are cycled through a charcoal can and into the air box / intake.

Cali only bikes.

Taking out the Evap will help my bike be able to start without sounding like its dying after its been sitting in the sun lol
So that is how you remedy this? If I ever run out of shady places to park then I may have to consider this option.

I think I figured it out. Both are supposed to be down. The additional black piece is just an extension to reach the tank more easily.

I looked at the service manual, one is the fuel tank breather and the other is the overflow drain.

I think I figured it out..The black piece of tubing is connected to the grey piece to act as an extension. Both will flow out
