I found a dealer that is willing to let a FZ-09 go for $8,399 OTD. :tongue4:
That's a great deal, no? (CT sales tax is .0635)

Uhhh... I know.
I was going to wait until I sold my VFR... but chances are I'm going to have to go down to the dealership this weekend and put a deposit down.

Tell them you like round numbers, and go in with $8,000 cash, and be ready to find another dealer that will take cash on a slow winter day.

That sounds like an awesome deal to me. I don't think I would try to lowball them much more than that. I paid $9399 OTD and considered it a fair deal in this area.

Stupid good deal, I went in for about 9500 too. Dumb ca tax. Worth every penny.

9600 OTD here in LA as well.... most LA dealers were asking 10,500 OTD due to the lack of supply. We get pretty ripped off here in LA, lol. Seeing 8400 OTD, makes me jelly...

I think that is a good deal. If you buy out of state you pay the tax of your home state at least that is true in NY.
