hi there,

i'm about to tackle my ghetto fuse block, and need a 12V accesory switched wire. I found one that goes to the starter relay that stays on only when the key is on. does anyone have a better wire I can tap into to control my relay?
Other yammi models have a nifty accesory plug that grips plug into etc. which has a 12V acc wire.

It is located under the throttle side scoop. It is tucked away under the tank. Grey plug in the picture.

If you wanted to keep things in the tail section, you could tap into the rear running/tag light wire and fire a fog lamp relay connected through a fuse to the (+) side of the battery. Ignition on? Relay closes and your accessory block is "hot". Switch off and the relay opens.
Even a modest relay of this type will take 20-30 amps, no sweat.

I have one of these and will tap into the license plate light for the switched line.

I plan on mounting it in the tray for the ABS in front of the battery under the tank.
