The roller guide rib. Look at the photo, the line that the arrow is pointing to is right on the lowest part of the guide, which is the guide rib.

My manual does not have detailed wording as to what part of the chain guard to use to measure chain slack from.
Are we to measure from the flat part of the chain guide or the roller guide rib that sticks down a few millimeters in the center of the guard. The photo in my manual seems to imply measuring from the roller guide rib possibly. Yet - many examples are measuring from the regular portion of the chain guard and not that rib on it.
Does anyone knew exactly which part of the chain guard they intended for us to measure from? I see many people have been confused by this while trying to find an answer.
