Getting the bike more sorted out .

Have the gearing about where I want it at rear + 2 teeth.

Using 2nd and 3rd gear in the video.

I normally run a metzler Racetec # 1 in the front and a # 2 in the rear.

My net vendor didn't have any # 2 rear , so got a 190 / 55 # 1 compound ( soft ) in the rear.

Camera bike a Duc 1100 Hypermoto.

Video starts where he waves me by to get around car.

Speeds were about 40 to 85 mph, 7 % grade uphill.

Not much in the way of straights.

The longest being where we passed the car in the beginning.

Originally had Bridgestone 003 190 / 50 on the rear, with 6 inch wide rim ,

( stock is 5 1/2 inch ) but sides weren't steep enough for the lean angle.

Was running a bit past the edge.

The Metzler 190 / 55 has steeper sides and has more tire on the ground at full lean.

The long OEM peg feelers were a nuisance , so replaced them with bolts just a bit shorter than 1/2 OEM length.

They still touch down, occasionally.

Nothing else on the bike dragging, though.

Nice!

I have to get a new rear, but I'd love to make a run both up and down with y'all. Maybe you can recommend a tire for me; 75% highway 25% hooligan...

Thanks for showing the collection last week BTW, that was badazz...
