Dropped off the bike at the dealer last night. His box of bar mounts had just come in. I just picked the bike back up and compared pics I took last night and can not see any difference other than a slightly different color of black. However, you can't really see this difference unless you're looking underneath the bars and have your face pretty close to them.

Just got an 'out of the blue' call from my dealer, Martin Motorsports in S.E. PA, about the recall. They've already ordered the parts for my bike, will let me know when they're in. Sounds like we're getting new bar mounts.

Got my call from them as well. They have been wonderful to work with. Guess I get to visit my old fz6r when I take it in once the parts arrive.

Got my recall letter from Yamaha today here in Norway. I was sure my VIN was clear but I was wrong.

Most of us have thought that way, but I think yamaha has a more refined list of VIN's that are effected.
