(1) We never have to have a "where do you put your gas cap" thread
(2) The cover over the lock for the seat
(3) Gear indicator
(4) Ride modes
(5) Fuel gauge
(6) For me, fuel injection and not waiting ten minutes for my bike to start
(7) Cool blue purple wheels on the graphite, I love them
(8) Integrated steering lock

What are your favorites? Besides the obviously amazing engine?

Amazing space age materials used to make the front half of the bike so ultra light weight...

1. Super smooth engine . . . No vibrations in the handlebars.
2. Very good leg room . . . Which is very important for us older generation riders.
3. Really eats up the bumps . . . The stock suspension is perfect for many of us.
4. Great gas mileage . . . Compared to my previous 950 Super Moto.
5. Upright seating position . . . No neck issues.
6. No plastic fairings tabs to brake off when removing for maintenance.
7. No shim clearance to worry about for 26,000 miles.
8. Very easy to move around the garage (light and compact).
9. Not much surface to clean and wax.
10. Cheap insurance . . . . If you are my age.
11. As noted . . . The front tire may last until the first shim clearance check . . .

I don't have to crouch over while riding. My back and neck would argue that it's a bonus feature.

This is the only bike I've ever ridden that has an easy access blinker fluid reservoir. Well done Yamaha, well done.

Where is this accessory power connector? How do you connect to it? SAE?

Thx!

I believe its tucked behind the left "fake" air intake. And no its not SAE I think its a Yamaha connector. Don't quote me on that though.

As a newbie, the gear indicator is great!!
I am seeing a lot of nice bikes out there that just do not have it. I appreciate it.

On most bikes I have been on, the neutral indicator hasn't always worked. There have been many times where I have shifted into neutral, rolled the bike to make sure I was in neutral, then put it in first. This is when I'm not sure if the bike shifted to first when slowing for a light. I love knowing I'm in first.
