Dyno's are extremely fallible tools for comparing apples to apples horsepower. For one thing, the variables are immense and practically uncontrollable. But WOW look at all that useful TORQUE!!!!!! ILOVEIT
I had a GSXR 7/11 with a JE 1196cc big bore kit in it. It made 130hp on the dyno it was tuned on, but made 157hp at a dyno day for bragging rights.
Good to tune a bike on the same dyno, do a run, tweak it, do a run, etc, but comparing figures from different machines/operators isn't exactly reliable.
yes, mine measured pretty much Exactly what the mags claim, I'm at ~2000'
funny thing was the bike made the most power the highest in rpm in fourth, fifth is limited (as in power limited as the rpms climb) and 6th is positively neutered above 6.5k
stock pipe, stock flash
slingy frame and slabby motor. By the time i broke it, it also had K4 gsxr1000 forks anodized black (91 1100 forks in the pic). It was down to about 185kgs wet. 3rd gear, 70kph, open the throttle, and the front wheel would come up and it'd take off like a cut cat. Great bike.
