I just received my fork from changing spring and oil and bad luck

And its back order with no date

At least it wasn't the engine casing like another guy on here. Lesson learned hopefully, pick yourself up a proper torque wrench.

I used the wrong tools first time that's why it look terrible

But i broke the fork with a normal hallenkey nothing that i can torque that hard!!

I don't wanna tell you how to live your life, but you should not ride that.

Also, I love saving money by doing my work myself, but if I was having stuff like that happen to my bike, I would have to question my own ability to perform my own maintenance. If I broke my fork like that I would think to myself "That's expensive, I could have paid someone to do that for me and saved money." I don't trust people touching my bike, but if that happened under my watch I wouldn't trust myself. That's just me.

No offense, it brought back old memories, I felt exactly this way seeing the OP:


No one is hurt except your wallet, keep it this way and don't ride with the ghetto style repair... seriously.
Good news, that's one mistake you won't do again.

Really sorry about that bit of unpleasantness. I'd start looking for salvage yard parts right away. And don't you dare ride it until you have it fixed.
