Gulf just can't stop leakin oil...

Is the bleeder leaking or is it just some residual fluid from the nipple that is coming out? It's also very easy to strip bleeder screws, if you gorilla wrenched them you could have fubared them.

I'd check to make sure residual fluid in the bleed nipple, or cap, isn't making a mess. Mine snugged up, leak free, with little effort.

I remove the rubber boots all night and the leak was at the base of the bleeders...

Teflon is not an option for bleeder screws as the thread is not where the seal is made...they seal at the bottom....if the sealing surface is screwed up, you may get away with a new bleeder screw, or you may need a whole new caliper....
