Box for Seat

Nice - first thread in the Ontario section!

Might be a long-shot, but anyone in Ontario have a box for the seat on our FZ-09's. I want to ship mine out, and would prefer not having to make a ghetto box.

When you say Box for a Seat, the first thing that popped in my head is the stock seat on my DR650SE, lol.

Sorry, I don't have anything to ship an 09 seat to Dual Sport Touring. It might not hurt to write "Fragile" and "Do Not Use Blade to Open", just in case the border guys open it as it goes through customs.

You'll have to post some photo's when you get your seat back and installed.

Idea is to ship it down, ahead of the moto trip to the Smokies, pick up on way down, and put it directly to use! I'll be sure to let you guys know how it is. He's made some amazing looking seats for the FZ1 guys, and the FZ09 guys also.

When I took mine to UPS they cut/built a box to fit for free.

Where in Ontario are you? I will be receiving a Sargent seat any day now, and if the box is in good shape, and you are close, you can have it. I'm in Simcoe, near Port Dover, but go to Hamilton a lot.

Dangit, when I read Simcoe I was thinking you're in my neck of the woods being I'm in Simcoe County (Barrie). I don't imagine I'd be Hamilton way before needing to ship. Thanks for the offer though!

Also let us know how you like the Seargent seat
