A local car wrapper was happy to have a chat and shared a heap of advice. He even have me a left over sheet of Avery carbon fibre.

Radiator fins and rear hugger done.
Not perfect but I'm happy.

He also warned me that many parts on the MT09 and 07 wouldn't hold vinyl wrap.. something about the satin/textured finish.

Are the radiator side guard full replacements or do they stick in to the existing piece?

Looks good if they start lifting use some spray contact glue. Will lock it back down.

Well the new girl is in the shop for the first service and fitting of new parts....
axles sliders, screen, tail tidy, Akro Carbon.... seriously impatient!

Still got frame slider / oggy nobs, and a comfort seat on the way

Got the old FJ1200 back from its full service... such a different bike. I love it but going to sell it.

Today was the day.

Akro Carbon, no baffle
Oh my freakin gods... That sound soothes my soul and makes me very happy! No more sewing machine for me. Now I've got a fire breathing dragon!

And the touring screen is sweet also.
It's clear so it doesn't change the look and a nice deflector. Still yet to test it out on the highway.

And the tail tidy!

So happy.

They look like the duck's nuts, as they say, JR! Enjoy. I must say that I thought the touring screen would have been a deal taller... looks good though! Glad to see you've shed that godawful OE rear fender 'arm'.

Very nice!
Since you got the axle sliders, don't you want to add a frame slider too?
Sometimes on the highway, I put my feet up on mine it's pretty comfortable.
