Title says it all really.
Have some money to spend on the bike. So looking to see what the consensus it out there.

It can be a comfort mod, suspension or purely be aesthetic.

i got an ebay copy puig screen to take some of the wind of my chest at faster speeds.
Hi P,

Probably should have mentioned that I’ve got the yam fly screen already fitted. But that would have been a good shout. Thanks for post.

Do you have any protection? Some swing-arm spools, bar ends, and fork sliders aren't a bad investment. My wife dropped the bike the day after I installed it, so almost payed for themselves already.

IMHO, the most fun mod I have ever done to any bike is the quick shifter! You can probably get a quick shifter and some tip over protection and stay in your budget.

Correct springs for your weight.
Yep. The first, best thing you can do to any bike is set up the suspension properly for your weight and riding style. Since £300 won't pay for a whole shock, proper springs will help.

Quick update...

So I ended up buying the SW-Motech crash bars. Got them on fleabay for £90 instead of around £150. Then bought axle sliders front and rear too. Had to buy a rear paddock stand also. Needed the paddock stand as I have loss of little things to fit on the bike so want itstood solid while working on it.
